The first night we tried him in his crib, I took the bumper that came with the crib bedding set off. I know that it isn't safe for babies to sleep in cribs with bumpers because of SIDS, so I didn't want to take any chances. We had a little issue though...
His feet got stuck in-between the bars! The next day I went and bought what is called a "breathable" bumper to put in the crib so his little legs and arms wouldn't get stuck again. It has worked wonders! It is a mesh material so it is safe as far as the SIDS risk goes. Now he can sleep comfortably in his crib and I don't have to worry. It is great!
Morgan is also learning how to sit up on his own. He gets better and better at it every day. It is so cute to watch him learn! I bet sometime in the next few weeks he will be sitting up completely on his own.
Sometimes this happens :-)
He can also roll over from front to back pretty regularly now. Whenever he is on the floor, he loves to roll over. He also rolls over at night and sleeps on his side or stomach most of the time. He hasn't yet figured out how to roll back from his stomach onto his back. He is close, but just hasn't quite gotten it yet :-)
I decided to make a little video to show everyone how good he is at rolling over! The video got cut off at the end during the whole upload process and I don't know how to fix it...you get the gist though.
As you can see, the dogs like to be very involved :-) So much so, in fact, that this next video was basically ruined by dog involvement. I decided to post it though because it is funny.
Speaking of the dogs, Morgan LOVES to play with his furry brothers! He has recently discovered how fun they can be. He likes to grab their faces and put his hands in their mouths. I am trying to teach him not to pull on their hair...and teach the dogs to not lick him in his mouth...it is a work in progress :-) Thankfully we have the most patient and loving dogs in the world who let him do pretty much anything he wants to them with no complaints. I am very grateful for our sweet puppies.
Here are some pictures of Morgan with the boys!
He likes to pull...
Here is a video of Morgan playing with Diache. Knox is whining in the background because he is jealous that Morgan is playing with Diache and not him...
I love his little laugh! I am so glad that all of my babies get along. My mom always says that they will be partners in crime when Morgan gets older...I think she may be right :-)
