Disney World: Part 2

For our first day at Disney World, we went to Hollywood Studios. This park is more themed towards teenagers/adults and not so much kids. It has Tower of Terror and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and other fun rides that are on the "scary" side. We ate at this really fun restaurant that is set up like a typical 50's era family kitchen. The food was all home cooked style and the waitresses acted like they were our moms. They bossed us around and told us we needed to eat our vegetables and made sure we cleaned up after ourselves. It was pretty funny.

We also saw a Beauty and the Best musical show. It had a lot of flashing lights and music, so Morgan loved it!

Morgan even did a little bit of walking around!

Such a big boy!

On Day 2 we went to the Animal Kingdom park. I think this was my favorite park at Disney World. It is fun because they have roller coaster rides, but they also have a lot of animal-themed things like a safari and a petting zoo. My mom was sick this day :-( so she stayed back at the hotel and rested while we all went to the park.

Morgan is ready to go!

This picture has a funny story behind it. We wanted to take a picture in front of the Animal Kingdom sign, so we asked someone to take it and all jumped in front of the sign. It wasn't until we were standing there for a few seconds that I realized we didn't have Morgan with us! He was a good 20 feet away, just sitting in his stroller. We were all so serious about getting our picture taken that we forgot all about him! It was pretty funny once we realized what we had done. Jeff and I won a "parents of the year" award for that one ;-)

Here are some pictures from our safari ride.

Hippos!

We ate lunch at this fun restaurant called the Tusker House. This place is awesome because they have characters that come around and interact with you while you are eating.

Morgan wasn't so sure about the characters...

We also played at a dinosaur park.

And we saw Finding Nemo the Musical!

Day 3 we spent at the Magic Kingdom park. This park is pretty similar to Disneyland so we felt right at home! We rode a lot of the rides there and saw a few shows as well.

Morgan did some more walking :-)

Here is a video of Morgan on the It's a Small World ride. He loved this ride and was trying to grab all of the animatronics and lights. It was adorable!

More to come!
