Disney World: Part 3

Well, it has only taken me almost a month to get around to posting this 3rd part of our Disney vacation recap ;-) I have been so busy with school and life that I just haven't had time until now. Sorry everyone! Ok, without further adieu, here is part 3.

Day 4 was Epcot! I consider this park to be Disney World's most well known, mostly because of the big ball in front!

Epcot has a lot of space-age type rides and attractions. It also has the famous World Showcase with different "countries" that you can visit. We spent the day riding rides and visiting countries. We ate lunch at a Canadian steakhouse, walked through Morocco, saw St. Mark's Square in Italy, bought candy in Germany, and took a viking boat voyage in Norway. What is cool about the World Showcase is that in every country, all of the employees working there are from the actual country that is being represented. I thought that was a nice touch and made it feel even more authentic. 

This was the only other picture I got from our day in Epcot. Morgan loved taking a trip around the world!

Day 5 we went back to Animal Kingdom, this time with my Mom in tow :-) Here are some family pictures in front of the Tree of Life in the center of the park. 

As the trip progressed, Morgan got more and more tired and overstimulated. He was sleep deprived...which led to a few meltdowns :-) 

He always rebounded quickly, though!

That night, we went to a Hawaiian luau at the Polynesian Hotel. It was SO fun and my favorite part of our trip. They had Hawaiian performers, fire dancers, and yummy food. 

Day 6 was our last day in Orlando. We were all pretty tired, so we spent the morning sleeping in, swimming, and just relaxing together.

In the afternoon we went back to Hollywood Studios. We rode our favorite rides again and ate at this Sci-Fi diner where you sit in cars and watch old Sci-Fi movies. It was a fun way to eat!

Day 7 we had to say goodbye to Disney World and our wonderful hotel and headed home :-( we were so sad to leave! It was such a fun trip and I cannot wait until we get to go back!
