From Milwaukee to Phoenix to Durango and Back Again

My brother, Spencer, got married in Phoenix, AZ (Gilbert to be exact) back in July. We flew down there for his wedding and then went on a trip with my family the following week. After all of the wedding festivities were done in Arizona, we piled into a van and drove up to Durango, Colorado. We stayed in a cabin and had a grand ole' time!

They're married!!

Sisters all dressed up for the wedding

We were proud of our work :-)

It was an 8 hour drive from Phoenix to Durango. It ended up being really fun to all be together in the big van. We played games and made the best of the drive.

Morgan loved riding in the "bus" as he called it

It was amazing to see the difference in terrain from when we left (desert pictured above) to when we arrived in Durango. Hello mountains!

These two loved being outside!

One of the first things we did in Durango was ride the Silverton railroad. It was so fun and Morgan absolutely loved it! The trip was 4 hours up to Silverton and 4 hours back and he didn't complain once. It was amazing!

He took the train ride VERY seriously!

We also went to a chuck wagon dinner show. It consisted of good country BBQ and lots of entertainment!

Well that's all for now! Morgan is waking up from his nap :-) Horseback riding, alpine sliding, and Mesa Verde-ing fun to come!
