Random Collection of Recent Events

We have done a few fun things these last couple of months, so here is a little overview of what we have been up to!

Shortly after Morgan's birthday, he and I hopped on a plane and headed down to Florida to hang out with my family (my brother and his fiance were there, so the trip was planned so that we could meet Scotlyn and spend time with them before their wedding in July).

We left in the wee hours of the morning. This boy was excited, though!

It was a quick couple of days that we spent in Florida since I had to get back to Milwaukee for the last few days of my internship. We made the most of our short time, though. We got to go to Disney World which is always fun! Morgan's favorite part was (of course) the petting zoo in Animal Kingdom.

He got tired :-) I love that he is still little enough to occasionally fall asleep in my arms.

Pure joy!

An alpaca--I love them like I love the llamas <3

We also got to see the Cirque du Soleil show in Orlando. It was amazing! Here are a couple of pictures of Morgan with his aunties, and then him displaying some of the cool tricks we saw in the show :-)

A few weeks after we got back from Florida, Jeff's dad came to Chicago for a work conference, so we drove down there one evening to see him. We had dinner and saw some of the sights of Chicago. It was my first time in Chicago and I loved it! We will have to make more trips down there this summer. It really is a cool city.

We met a mounted policeman and had to say hi to his horse!

Well as if this post isn't long enough, there is one more thing I wanted to share. Last weekend the children's hospital where Jeff works sponsored an employee appreciation event at the Milwaukee Zoo. It was great because we got into the zoo for free, were given snacks and a free meal, and got to ride all of the rides/see the shows. The zoo also stayed open late just for Children's employees. It was awesome! The weather on the day of the event was not great, but we still had a lot of fun. The animals were out and active as well which made it even more exciting.

This zoo has a ton of peacocks that just walk around. They are fun to see!

Morgan loved the carousel until it started going...then he wasn't much of a fan.

That's all, folks! If you made it this far you are seriously a trooper!
