Update

I'm back! I have been so bad at regularly updating this blog for the last couple of months. So this post is going to be a bit of an update/quick catch-up :-) Since my last post, a few big things have happened. We went to Florida in August to welcome my brother home from his 2 year mission for our church, I started my internship, my sister-in-law stayed with us for a month and took care of Morgan while I was at my placement, and then Morgan started with his new babysitter after Alex left. It has been a busy time and emotional roller-coster ride for our family.

Jeff came a couple of days after Spencer got home because he couldn't take very much time off of work, which is why he isn't in any of these pictures :-( Also, Morgan was at home with a babysitter because Spencer's flight didn't get in until 11:30pm!

The day after we got home from Florida, Alex arrived! She came to help Morgan (and all of us really) with the transition to me starting my internship. She was such a huge help and we will be forever grateful to her for all that she did for our family while she was here. Thanks for coming Alex! We love you!! 

While Alex was here we took a trip to the children's museum. It was a fun-filled family day!

After Alex left it was back to reality--and Morgan had to start going to his babysitter's house while I am at my internship. He has struggled with it a bit, which means I have also struggled with it a bit. I know it is just the transition phase and it is normal for him to have some separation anxiety, but it is still so hard! I hope we can all adjust quickly so it isn't so difficult the days I am gone. This too shall pass...my internship isn't going to last forever. And although it is hard to leave my boy, I am absolutely loving my placement and learning so much. I can see God's hand in this whole situation and know it is going to be okay. 

Well I think I have overloaded this post with enough pictures for one day. Here's to me being better about posting regularly! :-)
