Maternity Pictures

     First off, I just want to say a big THANK-YOU to those of you who gave me such excellent advice on my hospital debacle! I've decided that we are going to take a tour of both of the hospitals and then make a decision. I want to feel good about where we choose, so I'm hoping to find that somewhere during the tours. I will also see how things go at my 36 week ultrasound, because if there are any foreseeable issues we will probably go to Mercy, the bigger hospital with the NICU. You all helped to ease my fears! Thank-you so much!

     Now, on to the pictures :-) We are SO happy with how they turned out! Our photographer, Alma Tait, was amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better experience overall. The day we shot these pictures was absolutely freezing! So even though the weather looks beautiful in the pictures, let me tell you--it was not. We got through it, though, and are so happy with the outcome!

     The only direction I gave Alma was that I wanted the pictures to really represent St. Louis. I figured since we are only living here temporarily, I wanted these pictures to show Morgan's birthplace! We decided on the St. Louis Arch and Forest Park as our two locations. Both of these places just scream St. Louis, and I am happy that we were able to capture some of this cultured city. Alma also wanted to incorporate some of the graffiti and run-down areas around the arch, because she said that really represents St. Louis as well :-) Funny, but true. The pictures where I am in the blue dress are at the Arch and the areas right around the arch, and then when I am wearing the red coat we are at Forest Park.
