I thought I would just give a little recap to sum up these last few months and then move forward with posts about what we are doing nowadays.
We had a wonderful holiday season. It was great to get to spend time with both of our families and also have some time to relax. Morgan enjoyed being spoiled by all of his aunties and grandparents. We spent Thanksgiving in Kansas City with Jeff's family. We had lots of fun despite the fact that the stomach flu hit and took half of us out (a big reason why I don't have a lot of pictures from our festivities).
Our Thanksgiving turkey!

Shortly after Thanksgiving we made a trip to our local Christmas tree farm to get our tree! This is something we have done every year since Jeff and I were married. We love it! It was so cold the day we went, but we still had fun and enjoyed some hot chocolate which warmed us up :-) It was a good time!
I must be in denial about where we live. This is what I chose to wear for Christmas Tree hunting. EXPOSED ANKLES! I was freezing!!!
We spent Christmas in warm, sunny Florida with my family. It was great to thaw out a little!
On the flight to Florida. Look at those clouds!

Morgan and I were the angel and angel's helper for our Christmas Eve nativity. You can see how much he enjoyed it.

At the airport on our way home. Morgan chowing on a pizza crust!
Since the start of the new year, it has been pretty much business as usual for us. We had a rocky start with Morgan's separation anxiety and us going back to work. His babysitter also quit a couple of weeks in, which didn't help. We are thankful for family and friends who have stepped up to help us during this time. We will survive this internship of mine if it is the last thing we do!!
I am excited to be back to blogging and look forward to (hopefully) posting more regularly!
