Our Baby Turns One!

I cannot believe it has been a year. I just cannot believe it. Our Morgan is growing up so so so fast! People always say that with kids time flies, but I never really believed them until now. Where has this year gone? Like, really?

We had a fun celebration for Morgan's birthday. We started the day off with some yummy blue pancakes (we don't know what his favorite color is [obviously], so we just did Jeff's favorite color).

After breakfast, we got ready for the day and then started preparations for the party! I wrapped some presents and got the veggie tray ready, Jeff went and picked up the cake, and Morgan took a nap :-) Sometime mid-morning Jeff's family arrived, and after Morgan woke up we headed over to the park for his party!

We had BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs, a yummy potato salad that JoAnn made, a veggie tray, chips and dip, and strawberries. It was a tasty meal! After we ate we just hung out for a while. Some people played catch and we just spent time enjoying the beautiful weather.

After a while we had Morgan open his presents. He was so cute and excited about everything he got!

After opening presents, we went over to this little farm that is attached to the park we were at. It was cute to see Morgan interact with the animals!

After our visit to the farm we headed home for some cake and ice cream. This was the part I was most looking forward to. I wanted to see Morgan dig into that cake!

We had a barnyard theme for his party because the park was attached to a farm. Here is the cute barnyard cake!

First touch!

He wasn't sure what to make of it

Done! He didn't get as messy as I was hoping he would, but he seemed to enjoy the cake. And yes, he is crying in this picture. He was a tired birthday boy!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MORGAN! WE LOVE YOU!!!
