Once we got home, though, it was so nice to be able to relax together as a family. My mom was here and she did so much to take care of us. She gave us so many good tips and took care of all of the household chores so we could focus on getting the hang of taking care of our baby. We are so grateful for her!
It has been 10 days since Morgan was born, and we have spent the time getting to know our little guy. We have started to get in a groove with the whole nighttime feeding thing, and Morgan gets better and better at sleeping with every passing day. We just love him so much and are so grateful to have him in our lives!

He had his first doctor's appointment the day after we left the hospital. Everything looked great and our pediatrician asked us to come back in a week to make sure that he is gaining weight. We have that appointment tomorrow, and we are all interested to see how much weight he has gained. He is definitely feeling heavier to me, so we will see!

Jeff's mom is here this week to help us out. We are so blessed to have moms who care so much about us and want to help us in so many ways! How did we get so lucky?
We had Morgan's newborn pictures taken last Thursday, so we are waiting with baited breath for our photographer to finish editing them. I am SO excited to see them I can hardly wait!! Hopefully I will be able to get them posted here in the next couple of days.
Well...Morgan is hungry and wants to eat! Time for me to sign off. Duty calls :-)
